THE THREE STATES
Evidence states
A published record may show one of three states. Each state is derived from Vencilla’s documentation and qualification records.
SOURCE IDENTIFIED
A potential third-party source has been identified. Qualification has not started.
UNDER QUALIFICATION
Documentation for a third-party source is being collected or reviewed by Vencilla.
DOCUMENTED
Vencilla has received and reviewed the defined documentation set for a third-party source.
Last verified: where applicable, a published record will show the relevant verification date. Where a source has not been assessed, no status is shown.
HOW A STATUS IS DERIVED
Derived from documentation and qualification records
A status follows from the documentation and qualification records behind a third-party source.

SOURCE RECORD
A potential third-party source is recorded for a product.

DOCUMENTATION
The documentation defined for the product class is requested and collected.

REVIEW
Vencilla reviews the documentation received.

STATUS
The status shown reflects the current state of these records.

LAST VERIFIED
Where applicable, the date of the most recent review is shown.

CHANGES
If documentation lapses or a review is outstanding, the status is reduced or removed.
WHAT A STATUS MEANS
What an evidence status is, and is not
Evidence statuses support transparent sourcing. They must never be read as certifications or approvals.
AN EVIDENCE STATUS IS
- A description of the state of Vencilla’s own sourcing record
- Derived from documentation and qualification records
- Shown with a verification date where applicable
AN EVIDENCE STATUS IS NOT
- A certification
- An approved-supplier or verified-supplier designation
- A GMP certification
- A regulatory approval or registration in any market
